Millie Bobby Brown & Jake Bongiovi Celebrate First Wedding Anniversary
A lot can happen in a year for Millie Bobby Brown.
The Stranger Things actress celebrated her first wedding anniversary with husband Jake Bongiovi—son of Jo Bon Jovi and wife Dorothea Bongiovi—by sharing a black and white throwback photo from their ceremony on social media.
“1 year married,” Millie captioned a Sept. 21 Instagram post. “I love being your wife.”
Beyond experiencing one year of marriage together, the couple also recently shared the news that they’ve decided to expand their family.
“This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption,” Millie and Jake announced in an Aug. 21 Instagram post. “We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy.”
They concluded, “And then there were 3.”
Since then, the duo has shared a glimpse into their life as parents.
In a pic shared to Millie’s Instagram Sept. 1, her husband walked toward a plane in the distance while holding onto their daughter’s carrier. And while the tiny tot’s face wasn’t visible in the image, a glimpse of her soft skin could be seen poking out from under her white baby blanket.
Beyond the diaper changes, the pair proved they’re still making time for romance by sharing another snap of themselves enjoying a lowkey dinner date.
During the sweet outing, the Florence by Mills founder—dressed in a sleek black halter top—posed for a mirror selfie while the Sweethearts actor planted a heart-melting kiss on her cheek.
While Millie, 21, and Jake, 23, shocked fans with the news of their new baby girl, the Enola Holmes actress had previously shared that motherhood was always one of her dreams.

“My mom actually had her first child at 21 and my dad was 19,” Millie explained on the SmartLess podcast in March. “This has been my thing since before I met Jake. I wanted to be a mom just like the way my mom was to me.”
“Jake knows how important it is to me,” she continued. “Of course, I want to focus on really establishing myself as an actor and as a producer, but I also find it’s so important to start a family for me personally.”
