More details about the decomposed body found inside a Tesla belonging to singer D4vd have been uncovered.

Celeste Rivas, 15, was identified through forensics as the person whose human remains were discovered, NBC Los Angeles reported.

Her cause of death has been deferred, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office records reviewed by E! News. In Rivas’ case file, her date of death was listed as Sept. 8—the day her body was discovered in Tesla parked at a Hollywood impound lot—with her place of death determined to be “vehicle.”

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office told NBC News in a Sept. 17 statement that Rivas “has been identified as the juvenile who was reported missing from Lake Elsinore,” a city approximately 68 miles southeast of Los Angeles.

At this time, investigators do “not have a crime classification from the coroner as to the mode or manner of death,” the LAPD told the outlet.

“Thus,” the police spokesperson added, “we do not have any suspect information at this time.”

E! News has reached out to D4vd’s rep for comment but hasn’t heard back, though his spokesperson previously said that the 20-year-old “is fully cooperating with the authorities.”

Earlier in September, law enforcement sources told NBC News that LAPD officers were called to the tow yard over a foul odor coming from the Tesla, which had been sitting in the lot for several days. After finding Rivas’ body in the front trunk of the car, authorities learned that the vehicle was registered in Hempstead, Texas, under D4vd’s real name David Anthony Burke.

Police said the car had been towed to the lot after it was reported abandoned in the Hollywood Hills.

In the wake of the gruesome discovery, D4vd has canceled his Sept. 17 show in Seattle, per the AXS website. According to the ticketing platform, his next tour date is still scheduled for Sept. 19 in San Francisco.

The “Romantic Homicide” singer has been on tour across the United States in support of his debut album Withered.

“This album means SO much to me you have no idea the blood sweat and tears that came with trying to create this project over the past 2 years,” D4vd wrote on Instagram in February. “Constantly starting over and over and over until there was nothing left on this audio landscape of a canvas than thoughts, melodies, and emotions that were unequivocally me.”
