The Rotary Club of Metro East Taytay (RCMET) once again made a powerful mark in the community as it proudly completed the Canopy for Learners plus Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) Project at San Juan Elementary School Annex, Taytay, Rizal.
This transformative initiative is set to benefit more than 1,300 students and 28 teachers, providing them with a safe, comfortable, and weather-proof learning space while promoting health, wellness, and proper hygiene practices for years to come.
The newly turned-over canopy ensures that classes and activities can continue rain or shine, while the WASH facilities strengthen the school’s commitment to the health and well-being of every learner. This project is a shining example of how Rotary’s mission of “Service Above Self” translates into lasting, high-impact change.
