SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — One person was hospitalized with unspecified injuries Saturday morning following an open-space rescue in San Diego’s Rancho Bernardo neighborhood, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.

Emergency crews were dispatched just before 9:45 a.m. to a small park near Nolina Way and Oleander Way, where the individual was reportedly in need of medical assistance.

San Diego Fire-Rescue officials said 24 personnel responded to the incident, which concluded at 10:50 a.m.

Details about the injured person, including their identity, condition and the nature of the incident, have not yet been released.
