Dezeen Showroom: Flokk has released a new mesh version of its HÅG Tion task chair, the result of a collaboration with Big-Game, Anderssen & Voll, and Hunting & Narud.
The mesh back makes this version of the HÅG Tion task chair more breathable and visually lighter, while the aluminium frame adds an appealing, metallic contrast.
The frame, mesh back and upholstered seat are each available in a curated palette of colours and finishes that can be mix and matched for a unique look, including mesh options of Light Ochre, Chestnut, Sage Green, Grey Brown and Black.
The Tion task chair was first launched in 2021 in response to research into new patterns of working, and has a compact form well suited to flexible offices, meeting rooms and creative studios.
It is designed to be comfortable and support natural posture changes through HÅG’s inBalance tilt mechanism, but the focus is on adaptability and aesthetic refinement rather than the full adjustability of a larger traditional task chair.
The HÅG Tion mesh task chair is made with 97 per cent recycled aluminium in its structural parts, and 94 per cent post-consumer plastics.
