Dezeen Showroom: German building materials brand Parador aimed to emulate the charm of parquet flooring in practical glue-down vinyl with its new collection, Trendtime 10.
The Trendtime 10 collection of vinyl flooring features wood-like strips that come together in a herringbone pattern.
Strips in multiple colours can be glued together to create unique layouts, and the flooring can also be combined with Trendtime 5 – Parador’s series of stone-inspired designs.
The brand said the new collections showed that high-end design trends such as parquet and marble could be interpreted in stylish but accessible flooring options.
“We’re delighted to offer a fresh spin on vinyl flooring, proving that it can seamlessly merge style, function and creativity,” said Parador product manager Christoph Wellekötter.
According to Parador, the Trendtime10 collection boasts enhanced durability, sound-proofing qualities and water resistance compared to previous products, and is suitable for a range of interiors across the residential, commercial and hospitality sectors.
