Dezeen Showroom: Italian brand Fiandre has added five new styles to its Marble Lab surface collection, designed to mimic the appearance of natural stone.

The new colour options – Dama Bianca, Silver Root, Breccia Imperiale, Quarzite Vals and Luna Limestone – feature neutral tones that vary from deep grey to light cream, each with stone-effect veining on the surface.

Like the original Marble Lab surfaces range, the tiles are eight millimetres thick and come in a rectangular format measuring 1,200 by 600 millimetres, as well as two square formats measuring 1,200 and 600 millimetres.

Breccia Imperiale has a dark grey surface with shocks of white, while the cream-toned Luna Limestone has a subtle texture.

Dama Bianca has a light colour with a crystalline appearance, Quarzite Vals has a soft grey colour, and Silver Root has a grey background with light and dark veining.

The tiles can be customised with Fiandre’s Feel and Flamed finishes to make them smooth and 3D-textured, respectively.

“In its most authentic essence, marble crosses eras and styles without losing its value,” said Fiandre. “Its elegance makes it a benchmark for architecture and interior design, impervious to trends.”

“With Marble Lab, Fiandre translates this heritage into pioneering ceramic surfaces that blend the charm of natural materials with the performance of porcelain stoneware – the perfect blend of memory and innovation, for spaces that speak the language of timeless beauty.”
