Dezeen Showroom: surfaces brand Forbo Flooring has expanded its Furniture Linoleum material collection with a range of new colours, released during Milan design week.
Forbo’s Furniture Linoleum can be used as a surfacing material for desks, tables, kitchen cabinetry, shelves, acoustic wall panels, and a wide assortment of other applications in interior design.
Like the flooring material it is named after, Furniture Linoleum is a natural product made from ingredients like linseed oil, wood flour, pine rosin and limestone that comes in a range of appealing hues.
The matt, soft-touch surface is inviting to interact with, but it is also practical and durable: anti-static and easy to clean, it develops a patina with age like other natural materials but does not show wear or degradation, according to Forbo Flooring.
The brand says its new colour additions have been thoughtfully selected for modern interiors, with options ranging from evergreen neutrals to rich, on-trend shades.
Furniture Linoleum’s new colour palette is on show alongside furniture pieces at the Galleria Rossana Orlandi during Milan design week 2025.
