Pete Davidson’s Pregnant Girlfriend Elsie Hewitt Shows Off Bare Baby Bump
Pete Davidson is officially the king of tattoo removal.
The Saturday Night Live alum’s eye-popping progress in removing all the tattoos on his chest was on full display in a shirtless photo of him with pregnant girlfriend Elsie Hewitt on vacation.
In the pic shared to Elsie’s Instagram Aug. 29, Pete—wearing only goggles on his head and a gold chain around his neck—smiled for the camera while the model swam in crystal blue water behind him.
And the close-up image was more than just a sweet shot of some sunny adventures for the couple—who announced they’re expecting their first baby together in July. It also revealed the absence of any permanent ink on Pete’s shoulders and collarbone and the faded designs on his upper chest, including a skull, an animal and a red quote.
As for the tattoos that still remain bold and visible? Another crimson-colored text design that reads, “MOMTATTOO,” a ghost and a giant shark on his left pec.
Indeed, Pete—who started the process of removing the over 200 tattoos on his body in 2020—previously shared that he still has a long way to go before all of his permanent ink is gone.
“They burn off your skin and then you’ve got to do it 10 more times,” the 31-year-old told Page Six last year of the grueling appointments. “They just put me to sleep which is kind of nice but if it’s just the arm, I try to listen to stuff or talk to the nurse.”
And the process to get rid of the ink isn’t cheap, either.

“It’s a pretty uncomfortable amount of money to disclose,” he told Variety in April. “I’ve already spent like $200K and I’m like 30 percent done. So, like, it’s gonna suck.”
Estimating that he’s probably going to take him “another 10 years” to finish, Pete added of his current progress at the time, “My arms are pretty much gone, and my hands and neck are gone. But I still have to do my torso and back.”
