Why Jason Kelce Regrets His Dramatic Dark Hair Transformation

As Jason—who shares Wyatt, 5, Elliotte, 4, Bennett, 2, and Finnley, 4 months, with wife Kylie Kelce—put it, “It looks like I took shoe polish to my face.”

Despite his feelings about the results, he acknowledged it could be worse.

“It is kind of growing on me,” he noted. “I do feel like I look pretty good with the dark beard.”

However, he’ll still be happy when he’s back to his natural look.

“I miss my grays,” he said. “I can’t wait for this to grow back out.”

And at the end of the day, he just wants to clear the air. 

“I didn’t do it out of vanity,” he emphasized. “I did it for a bit. That’s all I’m saying.”

Of course his beard was far from the only big news from the special podcast episode, as just two weeks before Taylor and Travis announced their engagement, the singer chatted with the brothers and announced her new album The Life of a Showgirl, set for release Oct. 3.

During the two-hour episode, Taylor and Jason shared plenty of funny moments together, including when the Grammy winner reminisced on the first time they met at the AFC Championship game in January 2024.

“One of the first things I saw was you say to Kylie, ‘I was just shotgunning beers with the Bills Mafia, and I really want to go through one of the fire tables, I want to jump through it, I want to jump onto the flaming table,'” she recalled. “And she goes, ‘OK. Can we not do that right now?'”

Jason acknowledged his antics, replying, “That’s a common phrase.”
