Dezeen Showroom: informed by art deco architecture, the H04 pull handle by US studio Civilian for Bankston Architectural brings an impactful material interplay to doors and joinery.
The H04 Pull Handle Long combines a geometric composition of spherical and linear elements with a rich materiality, creating a striking yet functional accent piece.
Polished chrome or nickel, American walnut wood, Portoro Gold marble or a powder coat in creamy Bone make up the potential material palette, which can be combined in various ways.
Civilian references art deco architecture and machine aesthetics in the design of the handles, which Bankston Architectural says are suitable across different doors and joinery and make an elegant fixture in a kitchen.
“This collaboration epitomises a vision for innovative design in the finishing touches that connect individuals to their space,” said Bankston Architectural co-CEO Emily Bradley.
The H04 Pull Handle Long is part of the Hemispheres collection, which also includes knobs and levers that can be used together to create visual cohesion throughout interiors.
