Hulk Hogan, Wrestling Legend, Dead at 71
Hulk Hogan‘s wife Sky Daily is breaking her silence on his death.
The yoga instructor, who married Hulk in 2023, shared a heartbreaking tribute to the WWE legend (real name Terry Gene Bollea) the day after his passing at age 71.
“I wasn’t ready for this… and my heart is in pieces,” Sky captioned a photo of her kissing Hulk on the cheek posted to Instagram July 25. “He had been dealing with some health issues, but I truly believed we would overcome them. I had so much faith in his strength. I thought we still had more time.”
“This loss is sudden and impossible to process,” the 46-year-old continued. “To the world, he was a legend… but to me, he was my Terry. The man I loved. My partner. My heart.”
Sky, who has three children from a previous relationship, went on to address Hulk’s fanbase.
“Hulk loved his fans so much,” she wrote, “and despite his growing physical discomfort, he did everything he could to show up, sign autographs, take photos, and connect with the people who supported him through it all. You meant everything to him.”
She also called attention to how important the Hogan Knows Best alum’s faith was to him.
“He was a believer in Christ, and I take comfort knowing his soul is at peace and he’s been welcomed home,” Sky concluded her post. “Please keep his family and all of us who loved him in your prayers as we try to navigate this new reality.”
While the rest of Hulk’s family—he shares kids Brooke Hogan, 37, and Nick Hogan, 34, with ex-wife Linda Hogan—has yet to speak out following his death, his managers did pay tribute to the former professional wrestler.
