The Hello Kitty Cafe Truck is making a four-day stop in San Diego for Comic-Con. The truck is celebrating its 10th anniversary, and Hello Kitty’s 50th anniversary, offering exclusive merchandise and treats to fans.
(FOX 5/KUSI) — The wildly popular and ever-so-pink Hello Kitty Cafe Truck is making a four-day pit stop in San Diego starting Thursday to ring in the official start of Comic-Con in America’s Finest City, while showering fans with exclusive treats and collectibles.

The touring cafe truck will set up its pop-up shop in the Interactive Zone at Petco Park beginning Thursday, July 24 at 10 a.m., just in time for the start of Comic-Con.
Here is the schedule for the cafe truck’s San Diego stop:
- Thursday-Saturday: 10 a.m. through 5 p.m.
- Sunday: 10 a.m. through 4 p.m.
The iconic character is also celebrating a pair of huge milestones.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck, which debuted in 2014 and has since traveled to over 100 cities across the nation, bringing joy and tasty treats to thousands of fans.
In addition to that stellar achievement, Hello Kitty will also be celebrating its 50th anniversary, marking half a century since Sanrio introduced the beloved character in 1974.
To commemorate the milestones, the cafe truck will be selling exclusive merchandise such as 50th anniversary iridescent totes, ceramic mugs, hoodies and pins. The cafe truck will also have special 10th anniversary keychains.
The truck will also be baking festive 10th anniversary cookie sets.
After its stop at Comic-Con, the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck will continue to roll its pink wheels through the Golden State, making its next stop in Fresno on Aug. 2.
