Baseball isn’t the only thing heating up at Petco Park this summer.
SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Baseball isn’t the only thing heating up at Petco Park this summer. On Thursday, July 10, the San Diego Padres are turning up the tropical vibes with Margaritaville Night, transforming the ballpark into a laid-back island getaway — no plane ticket required.
As part of the Padres’ popular Theme Game series, fans can enjoy an evening of baseball, music, and summer celebration. Attendees will receive an exclusive Margaritaville-themed Padres shirt with their ticket purchase.
Before first pitch, fans can head to Gallagher Square, where Jimmy’s Buffet, a tribute band honoring the legendary Jimmy Buffett, will perform live on the Sycuan Stage. Expect beach tunes, island-style fun, and plenty of good vibes as the Padres face off in a divisional showdown against the Diamondbacks.
Whether you’re a Parrothead, a Padres fan, or just looking for a midweek escape, Margaritaville Night offers the perfect summer staycation right in the heart of downtown San Diego.
Tickets are available now — but Theme Game packages are limited, so fans are encouraged to grab them early. For more details and to purchase Margaritaville Night tickets, visit padres.com/themegames.
