After Brooke Hogan revealed she was living out of a hotel room following her dad Hulk Hogan’s death and subsequent controversy surrounding the wrestler’s will, her husband Steven Olesky is explaining why the pair are living the room service life — for now.

“We are down in Miami. My wife signed back with Sobe Entertainment, the record label she was with previously. They have recorded about 14 songs in 10 days,” the hockey player, 39, exclusively told Us Weekly on Friday, September 19.

“With my 14 years of professional hockey and her travel, this is nothing new for us,” he continued of their current living situation. “There’s a beautiful restaurant we frequent and the twins and I have a solid routine.”

The pair — who said “I do” in June 2022 — welcomed fraternal twins, son Oliver and daughter Molly, in January 2025. According to the proud dad, he takes the twins on a walk every night at 5:00 while Brooke, 37, focuses on her music.

“She’s been putting [in] long days. A few nights have [turned] into 3:00-4:00 a.m. trying to knock out as much music as possible,” Olesky told Us, adding that his wife is “working with some awesome people.”

The Miami move and rededication to her music comes after Us confirmed that Brooke was left out of her late father’s will. (Hulk, real name Terry Bolleo, died on July 24 at the age of 71 after suffering a heart attack.)

According to court documents filed by her brother, Nike Hogan, and obtained by Us at the time, Brooke is not listed as a beneficiary of her father’s $5 million estate.

“His decision is no surprise to me,” Brooke told TMZ of her father’s decision not to name her as a beneficiary prior to his death. “It’s what I asked for, I stand by it with no regrets.”

Brooke — whose real name is Brooke Ellen Bollea — first started her singing career back in the early aughts, releasing her debut single “Everything to Me” in 2004. The single hit No. 1 on the Billboard’s single sales charts twice.

She later released her first album, Undiscovered, in 2006, going on to sell over half a million albums. She eventually went on tour with some of the biggest names in music, including Hilary Duff and the Backstreet Boys.

In 2018, Brooke tried her hand at country music, releasing her album, So Many Summers, in April.

“It is her true love and passion and [she] has been gone from it because of things out of her control,” Olesky says of his wife’s musical career. “[She is] very excited to bring the fans some updated music and [in] the new tracks she does a little bit of everything.”
